Digital Transformation Fundamentals

The Digital Transformation Fundamentals course sets the context for the knowledge journey. What do we mean by digital transformation, and why is it important?

Topics covered include digital transformation characteristics and examples, customer expectations and the value erosion model, opportunities for organizations to leverage digital transformation, and knowledge management best practices that support it.

  • Intended Audience: Anyone interested in the implications of digital transformation, including Knowledge Workers, Service/Support/Knowledge Managers, Coaches, Knowledge Domain Experts
  • Duration: 45 minutes

KCS v6 Fundamentals

The KCS v6 Fundamentals Course introduces the basics and the benefits of KCS.

Topics covered include how to do the KCS Solve Loop in the workflow, the value that work creates, and how KCS performance is assessed.

  • Intended audience: Anyone interested in learning the basics of KCS, including knowledge workers fielding interactions with employees, peers, or customers
  • Duration: 60-90 minutes
  • Cost: $145 (course only), $195 (course + certification exam)

This training will prepare you for the KCS v6 Fundamentals certification exam offered by the KCS Academy for an additional fee

Managing in the Digital Economy

KCS is often a bigger change for managers than it is for knowledge workers. This course talks about what’s different when we are leading in a knowledge-centered environment.

Topics covered include the benefits of digital transformation and knowledge management best practices, new measures and ways to use them, assessing contribution/performance, and motivating knowledge workers.
